Founder — Veronica Gella
Veronica Gella is a licensed aesthetician with over a decade of experience in medical aesthetics. A Native Hawaiian mother of three based in Waiʻanae, Oʻahu, she founded 'ALOHI in 2025 after years of building luxury facial and laser services on the Leeward Coast. The brand is inspired by her three daughters — her "brightest light" — and by the Native Hawaiian principle of Ola (the essence of life). Veronica available for interviews on: Hawaiian ingredient traditions, running a solo aesthetician practice, topical magnesium and athlete recovery, non-toxic beauty, and building a small-batch brand in Waiʻanae.
"Every product is a Makana — a gift — from our ʻohana to yours. That's the whole brand in one word."— Veronica Gella, Founder

Hawaiian ingredient revival: How kukui nut oil, traditionally used by Native Hawaiians for pre-natal belly care and post-sun skin, is being rediscovered as a modern facial serum ingredient.
Waiʻanae founder story: A mother of three launches a luxury skincare line from the Leeward Coast — an underrepresented voice in the Hawaiian beauty landscape.
Athlete recovery on Oʻahu: Why surfers, CrossFit athletes, and yogis on the island are turning to topical magnesium recovery spray instead of pills or Epsom baths.
Non-toxic yoga culture: The overlooked skin-contact factor in yoga — why what's on your mat matters, and why Manduka, Lululemon, and cork-mat owners are switching to alcohol-free cleaners.
Small-batch luxury with Native roots: How 'ALOHI reflects a broader trend of Native-owned wellness brands rooted in place, tradition, and family.
Medspa on the Leeward Coast: The medspa services (LaseMD Ultra, Genius RF, SkinPen) previously only available in Waikīkī now offered in Waiʻanae.
